Tarantara competes at the 2025 Worcester Competitive Arts Festival
In a first for Tarantara, on Saturday the 15th of March 2025, the choir competed in the Adult Choir section of the Worcester Competitive Arts Festival - and we came runners up! The choir performed 'Things That Never Die' and 'Wana Baraka' to a large and enthusiastic audience.
Comments from Sebastian Hudson, the competition adjudicator, included:
'Things That Never Die' - "....this was a powerful and captivating performance of this poignant piece"
'Wana Baraka' - "....what a fantastic and rousing ending to a highly spirited performance, thank you very much indeed!"
Although disappointed not to be the overall winners, we were awarded a 'Commended' by Sebastian. We will be 'going for Gold' next year!!
