TARANTARA is an auditioned mixed choir comprising over 60 enthusiastic members whose aim is to enjoy themselves singing and performing to the highest standard, and in the process help our various hosts to raise funds for their community or chosen charity. Having been formed in 2003, the choir is celebrating it's 21st Birthday this year.  Tarantara is a registered charity (No. 1113018).

TARANTARA  regularly performs at venues across Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire, and has also performed in Wales, Cornwall, Yorkshire, Tyne and Wear and Norfolk and in 2015 we performed the closing concert at Oviedo Music Festival in Northern Spain.

In July 2022, we did a mini tour of the Highlands of Scotland, our first ever visit north of the border.  We performed three concerts at St Andrews Cathedral in Inverness, Inverallan Parish Church and Dornoch Cathedral.  The primary objective of these concerts was to raise funds for the marvellous MikeysLine Mental Health Charity, which has become a vital resource for those struggling in the aftermath of Covid.

Over the last twenty one years, the choir's performances have raised well over £100,000 helping charities and communities raise money for good causes.  Please look at our programme of concerts to find a concert happening near you.
